Cherry Cream Cheese Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Graham-cracker pie pastry
8 oz of creamcheese
14 oz of sweetened milk (condensed)
1/3 c juice of lemon
21 oz of cherry-pie filling
1 tsp of extract (vanilla)
Instructions:
Allow creamcheese to soften at room-temp. Place creamcheese in bowl then beat ’til fluffy & light. Gradually add the milk, beat ’til smooth. Pour over juice & extract then blend ’til mixed well.
You pour the mixture into prepared crust then have pie chilled for 3 hrs ’til firm. Top w/ cherry-pie filling.

Bluegrass Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
Pie Crust:
1-1/2 c of flour; sifted
1/2 tsp of sugar (granulated)
1/2 tsp of salt
8 Tbsps of butter (unsalted, very cold); cut to pieces
2 Tbsps of shortening (solid, very cold)
4 Tbsps of water (ice)
For the Filling:
4 Tbsps of butter (unsalted)
1/4 c of sugar (brown)
1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
2 Tbsps of flour
1/4 c of bourbon
1/2 c of corn syrup (dark)
1/8 tsp of salt
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 c of walnuts; chopped
1 c of chocolate morsels (or more)
3 pcs of eggs (large)
For the Tangy Whipped Cream
1 c of cream
1 c of sour cream (or creme fraiche)
Instructions:
Combine salt, sugar, and flour; add the butter pieces and solid shortening; cut till mixture seems flaky. Sprinkle (ice) water and transfer on a processor; pulse till smooth and formed to a dough. Flatten the dough to disk and wrap it with a plastic wrapper. Place inside the refrigerator for half an hour.
Roll the dough to a round, 3-4 inches bigger than the pie dish. Set on the dish and let it extend to 3/4-inch beyond dish rim. Crimp edges and place inside the refrigerator for half an hour till chilled.
Preheat the oven (375 degrees F). Combine sugar and butter; beat thoroughly till fluffy and creamy. Add the flour; mix thoroughly till absorbed well. Add the eggs individually, while mixing continuously.
Add syrup, vanilla, bourbon, and salt; mix thoroughly and fold the nuts into the mixture. Sprinkle the morsels onto the base of crust and pour over prepared batter. Place inside preheated oven then bake for 40 mins. Take out from the oven; let it set then top it with a vanilla sherbet or “tangy whipped cream”.
To make the tangy cream, use chilled beaters and beat the cream thoroughly till its peak form slightly stiff. Fold the (sour) cream onto the mixture.

East Texas Buttermilk Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of baked pie crust (9 inch)
3 Tbsps of flour
1-1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 c of melted butter
3 pcs of eggs; beaten slightly
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 c of buttermilk
Nutmeg (to taste)
Cinnamon (to taste)
Instructions:
Combine sugar, salt, and flour; mix thoroughly and add onto the butter, buttermilk, vanilla, and eggs. Mix thoroughly then pour onto the crust. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake (350 degrees F) for fifty mins.

Turkey Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of chopped turkey; cooked
10 oz of packed frozen carrots & peas; thawed
4 of shredded cheese (Cheddar)
1 c of celery; diced
1 c of mayonnaise
1/4 c of onion; chopped
1/2 c of softened breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp of salt
3 dash of hot-sauce
1/8 tsp of pepper
8 oz of crescent-dinner rolls
Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients except rolls in mixing bowl, blend well. You spoon this mixture into greased 10×6″ bake dish then set it aside.
You unroll the dinner-roll dough onto 2 rectangles. You press the longer sides all together in order to create 1 large-sized rectangle.
Slice the dough to 3/4″ strips then arrange this as lattice over prepared mixture. Have pie baked at three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit for 20-25 mins ’til browned lightly.

Turkey, Chicken or Ground Beef Tamale Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 chopped onion (large)
Oil
8 oz of tomato-sauce
8 oz of pitted olives (black)
12 oz of vacuum-packed drained corn
1 Tbsp of chili seasoning
16 oz kidney-beans; drained
Cooked chicken; shredded
Pepper
Salt
8 & 1/2 oz of cornbread-mix (Jiffy)
1/2 cornbread batter recipe
Instructions:
Have onions sauteed in large-sized fry pan You add the pepper, salt, chicken, beans, chili-seasoning, corn, olives & tomato-sauce, blend very well.
Pour mixture into 12×8″ bake pan then top w/ cornbread mix batter, covering filling partially. Have pie baked at four hundred degrees Fahrenheit for 20-30 mins.

Cherry Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
A can of cherries (sweetened)
1 c of sugar (granulated)
6 tsps of cornstarch
2/3 c of cherry-flavored juice
A pinch salt
1-2 tsps of butter
1/2 tsp of flavoring (almond)
Instructions:
Drain the cherries then reserve the juice. Heat the cherry liquid then ad sugar & cornstarch. Stir ’til well dissolved.
You pour this mixture into cherries arranged on top of unbaked crust. Have pie baked for about 10 mins at four hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit. Later adjust temp into three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit then continue cooking about 20 mins.

Crystal Light Lemonade Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pc of pie crust (Graham)
1/4 c of milk
8 oz of cream cheese
1 pkg of Lemonade mix (Crystal Light)
8 oz of whipped topping (Cool Whip)
Instructions:
Combine milk and (cream) cheese; mix thoroughly till mixture becomes smooth and add the lemonade. Blend thoroughly and add whipped topping. Pour onto the crust and place inside the refrigerator for 3-4 hrs.

Caribbean Ice Cream Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pack of desiccated coconut
2 Tbsps of rum
1/2 gal of softened vanilla icecream; divided into half
Food color drops (green)
1/3 c of butter
2 grated limes w/ juice
8 oz of pineapples; crushed & drained
Instructions:
Combine butter & coconut flakes in skillet placed over mid-heat, cook ’til toasty & golden. Reserve two tablespoons.
Transfer the rest into sides & bottom of 9″ pie pan then chill. You combine one-half of icecream w/ rum & pineapples then spread generously over the crust, freeze.
Combine peel & lime juice w/ food color into the other one-half of icecream then mound it above a layer of crushed pineapple. Sprinkle w/ coconut flakes, freeze.

Old-Fashioned Lemon Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1.5 c of white sugar
2 Tbsps of cornstarch
1.5 c of water
1/3 tsp of cream-of-tartar
1 Tbsp of butter
3 pcs of eggs
1 pie crust; baked
2 pcs lemons (juiced); zests grated
Instructions:
Combine 1 c of water, butter and 1 c of sugar in pan. Let it boil for 3 mins. Mix cornstarch w/ 1/2 c of water then add to pan. Stir it well.
Next, add the lemon juice and grated zests. Add yolks then thoroughly stir ’til mixture will thicken. Remove pan from the heat; let it cool.
Meanwhile, beat whites ’til stiff then add the rest of sugar to the white gradually then fold 1/3 of egg-white mix into filling. Then, pour the filling into prepared pie crust. Add the cream-of-tartar to the remaining egg-white mixture so meringue will form
Top w/ meringue. Preheat oven (400 deg F) then turn off right before putting pie in. Bake pie about 15 mins ’til meringue turns golden-brown.
