Lemon Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of white sugar
2 c of boiling hot water
5 Tbsps of flour mixed w/ cornstarch
5 Tbsps of fresh juice (lemon)
1/4 tsp of salt
2 yolks of eggs
Instructions:
Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt then flour together. Blend in juice and yolks. Add hot water then stir ’til smooth. Cook on high stove heat ’til it thickens.
Pour in to baked pie shell (9-inch). Beat the whites w/ 2 Tbsps of sugar for meringue. To finish, cover the pie up to crust edges and bake over 300 deg F ’til peaks turn brown.
