Rhubarb Strawberry Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 c of rhubarb; cut into inch-sized pcs
2 c of strawberries; sliced
A pinch salt
1 & 1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
1/3 c of flour
2 Tbsps of butter
1/2 tsp of extract (almond)
2 pastry shells (9-inch)
Instructions:
Combine flour, strawberries, sugar, extract, salt & rhubarb. Spoon mixture into prepared crust then dot w/ butter. Have it covered w/ the 2nd pastry-crust then brush the surface w/ milk. Sprinkle w/ sugar.
Have pie baked at four hundred degrees Fahrenheit for 40-5- mins ’til berries are tender & crust turns light-brown.
